  Jim's Restaurant - Hwy 71 (Y) Austin, Texas Price $ Service:  Good Food appearance:  Good Rated:  4 out of 5 stars.  Excellent, worth a stop.  This is the perfect breakfast place.  A favorite of my late wife and myself.  It caters to the older generation.  The food is great.  

Bellville Meat Market Price $$$ Rated:  4 out of 5 stars.  Excellent, fresh products, well worth a stop.  This is not a Diner, but a must stop when I am in Bellville Texas.  Dried sausage, Jerky and summer sausage heaven.  I am extremely partial to the jalapeño, cheese summer sausage. Their dried sausage links themselves are worth the stop.  They have a very good BBQ brisket sandwich if your hungry. Service:  Good

Jin's Asian Cafe  Sealy, Texas Price:  $$ Traditional and non-traditional Chinese food.  My favorite when going to this Cafe is the jalapeño chicken with fried rice.  Still has the oriental flavor with a Texas bite. My overall rating:  2.5 out of 5 stars Service:  ok Food appearance:  Good

Hinze's BBQ and Catering, Sealy, Texas Price:  It is average for BBQ.  When you need a BBQ fix, price does not matter. Overall rating:  3 out of 5 stars.  Sometimes the brisket can be hit of miss and does not have that smoked taste that BBQ should have. A local Sealy BBQ place.  Good BBQ to satisfy the taste buds.  My overall favorite is the chopped Brisket stuffed bake potato.  Their pork ribs are good, but you cannot go wrong with a "stuffed tater".  Friendly staff make this a positive place.  Service:  Good Foodcappearance:  Good  

  Texas Pie Factory located in downtown Kyle, Texas is the perfect place for a lunch with friends or too satisfy the sweet tooth.  A 10 in Pie will set you back $20.00, but it is well worth the price.  One bite of the Pie and you fall in love with the place. Price:  Pies $$ but so worth every bite. Taste:  3.9 out of 5 stars  Service:  Good Food appearance:  Good

  Patti's Diner,  Pattison Texas Price $$ Taste 4 out of 5 stars Clean country restaurant with a small town appeal.  This place is a culinary dream.  Great breakfast place.  I recommend the chicken fried steak and eggs over medium.  It comes with a cathead biscuit that melts in your mouth.  I must admit my next time in Pattison, Texas I will try their chicken and waffles. Upside:  Staff were pleasant and smiled.  This makes an experience a delight.  This place is worth a stop. Service:  Excellent Food appearance:  Good

Tony's Diner Sealy Texas.   Price $$ Taste 3.5 of 5 stars Clean country restaurant with a small town appeal.  This place has a local following and is worth a try.   Downside, tired looking waitstaff who need to be more customer centered.  A smile goes a long way to promote a positive experience. Service:  OK Food appearance:  Good
